Dr. Daugherty is the Coordinator of the addictions counseling program and has been at IWU since 1997, teaching in the areas of addictions counseling and psychology. He teaches psychopathology for the Graduate Counseling Department and often supervises student internships or facilitates group counseling.

Dr. Daugherty is a licensed clinical psychologist with special interest in the areas of mood, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Dr. Daugherty received his B.A. in Psychology from Fanklin College (1983), his M.A. in Pre-Clinical Psychology from Ball State University (1987) and a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Indiana State University (1996). In addition to his work in academia, he has been providing assessment and psychotherapy services since 1986.
