Dr. Justice has been a school counselor in Northern Indiana since 1993, has taught education classes for IWU since 2002, had taught counseling classes for IPFW for two years, and has recently joined the IWU staff as Coordinator of the School Counseling concentration. Judy has moderated a program for helping divorcing parents for the Whitley County Courts. She has helped with divorce and grief groups with her church.

Dr. Justice is a state licensed mental health counselor and a national certified counselor. She holds an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, a Masters Degree in Counseling from Indiana University, and a Doctorate of Family and Youth Studies, specializing in Management of Programs from Nova Southeastern University.
