Donald P. Osborn has been involved in the area of behavioral and social sciences for over 25 years. He earned his B.A. in Christian Ministries from Lincoln Christian College and went on to earn a M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Indiana State University (ISU). Upon graduating from ISU, he did post-graduate work in Marital and Family Therapy and Psychological Appraisal. He furthered his education by receiving a M.A. in Theology with specializations in Psychology and Religion from Saint Mary of the Woods College. After graduation, he completed the Addiction Studies certificate from Vincennes University and is now working on his Ph.D. in Counselor Education at ISU. He has been ordained in the Christian Church for over 25 years.

Don is certified as a MAC and ICAC in the area of addictions. Additionally, he is a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marital and Family Therapy, a National Board Certified Counselor, and a National Certified Psychologist. Osborn is a Senior Fulbright Scholar with the NAADAC Trainers Academy. He has served on and is currently involved in a number of NAADAC committees. Before being elected President-Elect of NAADAC, he served two terms as Mid-Central Regional Vice President. He currently serves as the Chairman of The National Committee for Addiction Studies and Standards in Higher Education for NAADAC. He also served as board member and state president of the Indiana affiliate of NAADAC.

In Indiana, Osborn is licensed in Marital and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, and Mental Health. He has professional experience as a minister, clinician, clinical supervisor, and administrator.

Osborn is the Indiana Wesleyan University Graduate Addictions Program Director and Assistant Professor of Addictions Counseling. He lives in Noblesville, Indiana with his wife, Cindy. He has three grown daughters, Shawna, Tiffany, and Sara.
